Founded in 1990, Liliana International brings the finest Russian lacquer art, collectibles, and jewelry to customers across the United States and around the world. Today, we continue to showcase our collections at select shows while expanding our reach online, always staying true to our passion for quality and authenticity.

Our Founders
Liliana International was founded by Liliya Yunerman, who immigrated to the United States from Kyiv, Ukraine in pursuit of democracy and a better life. Trained as a civil and structural engineer, Liliya always had a deep appreciation for art and craftsmanship.
Before leaving the former USSR, she visited Moscow’s famous Izmailovo Market, where she purchased lacquered boxes, Matryoshka dolls, wooden crafts, amber necklaces, and other traditional pieces to bring with her to the U.S. When she shared these works with new American friends, their response was immediate—they were captivated and surprised by how difficult such authentic pieces were to find in America.
Encouraged by this enthusiasm, Liliya made the bold decision to pursue a new path: introducing Russian arts and collectibles to the American market. Starting at art fairs, college events, and flea markets, she eventually expanded into major jewelry, antique, and trade shows nationwide.
Her husband Igor, also an engineer, soon joined the business. Together, they continue to work side by side to source exceptional pieces and offer them at the best possible prices.
